These are my "tried and true" items that I love to use, read or recommend!

I just love equipment that "travels" well. You know what I mean, the Fits-in-your-suitcase and easy-to-hook-up-and-use kind of stuff. Below, you'll find just that. My favorites for home and on the road.

SUPER BANDS! Buy one or the set, these 41" circular bands will kick your butt. When I am on the road, I take a red or black. I can hit my whole body with just one band without even leaving my hotel room. When training new clients, my favorite is the red band because I can teach them how to squat correctly and this band "forces" correct alignment. So many ways to use these bands, I can't even count them!

TRX Training BASIC Suspension Trainer Kit - This is the bomb-diggity. You can hook over a door, over a tree limb, around a post and get a full body work-out in that will have your heart rate up in your target zone and your sweat going.
|
And, if you want to hook your TRX up at home, This is the bolt system I use in my home gym. It's perfect and I can hook or unhook in 5 seconds.

Exercise Ball, Birth Ball, Baby Soother, Office "chair"...You name it, it has a use! I am sitting on mine right now at my desk. The main thing to look for is Burst Resistant and Latex Free... This one is both. Order now so that you get it in time for the next Birth Ball Clinic!
FREE download of Memmy's Tip Page for inflating your ball (Hint: don't wait until the day of the Birth Ball Basics™ clinic!!) ![]()

These are the 7" exercise balls that we use in Postpartum Recovery Fitness and in the Pelvic Floor, Core & More class. They are sturdy enough for you to use for Myofascial rolling (and survive your toddler as well!). |
For my instructors, these are the bands that I like to purchase. They come in a roll long enough for your class without breaking the bank!

Good Books
Raise your hand if you love good books! I have some that I recommend over and over again...
Penny Simkin. Anything she writes is well worth reading. I think this may be the book that I most recommend to Dads, Grandmas, Aunties, Partners, and my doula coaching clients... It's an easy read, you know, the ones that you can keep by the loo... Pick it up, read a chapter, come back to it the next time... Loads of great information and tips for anyone involved with birth.

Breastfeeding is natural but that doesn't mean that it's easy. I often remind mommas that baby and mother are learning together. This book has stood the test of time and is a CLC's recommended reading. Some Mothers say it's an essential guide to their successful breastfeeding.
