This 3 hour clinic will provide you with Pelvic Floor Education and a take home exercise program. Learn how to Engage your Pelvic Floor and Activate your Transverse Abdominal muscle in order to develop strength and stability through your core and pelvic girdle. We'll discuss: How hormonal changes can affect your posture and joint stability; How to safely lift and hoist heavy items without feeling like your organs will fall out! Tips to help prevent urinary incontinence or how to combat constipation... How to modify certain exercises so that you can continue to participate in classes that you love. And so much more!
Equipment needed??
We will be using bands and your own body weight. You will need to bring a yoga mat, water, pen for notes
*For our postpartum mothers, non-mobile infants welcome in car seats
* Movements will be modified for those who prefer to do Chair Exercise rather than getting down on the floor
